WELDING

A technique for bonding metallic parts through the application of extreme heat to provide a continuous joint. Oxyacetylene and arc welding are usually recommended when strength is a major requirement in the project. Spot welding can be an inexpensive method of joining metal to metal where strength is not a consideration. It is also possible to weld plastic objects using Sonic welding as seen below.
